Abacus Mining & Exploration Corporation (“Abacus” or the “Company”) (TSXV:AME) announces that the Board of Directors has approved the grant of stock options to directors, officer, employees and consultants of the Company allowing for the acquisition of up to, in the aggregate, 447,500 shares of the Company. The grant is a result of the Company’s annual compensation review and the issuance is made under the Company's approved stock option plan. The options are exercisable at a price of $0.22 per share for a period of five years from the date of grant and are subject to regulatory policies.

Abacus is a mineral exploration and mine development company currently focused on its optioned Willow copper-gold property located near Yerington, Nevada in which it can acquire up to a 75% ownership interest, and the contiguous Nev-Lorraine claims subject to a ten year lease agreement.
